The home of baseball's Blue Jays was the world's first stadium with a fully retractable roof. One way to see the huge 54,000-seat stadium is to buy tickets for a Blue Jays game or one of the many other events that take place here. These may include cricket matches, Wrestlemania, monster truck races, family ice shows, rock concerts, or even the opera Aïda. You can also take a one-hour guided walking tour -- except when daytime events are scheduled.
SkyDome Tour Experience begins with a 10 minute award winning film about the construction of the facility followed by a 45 minute guided tour of SkyDome to areas not usually accessible to the general public. Rogers Centre Tour Experience, is at Front and John sts., with tours departing from between Gates 1 and 2. Tours of the first fully retractable roofed stadium, formerly known as SkyDome, feature visits to a luxury suite, the media center, club seats and a team dressing room and the field area (event schedule permitting). A museum has artifacts unearthed during the stadium's construction and highlights of some of the events held there. The stadium is home to baseball's Blue Jays and football's Argonauts.
